Road Accidents Caused by Young and Novice Drivers in the Czech Republic in 2007
Young drivers up to 25 years caused 18% of total number of road accidents and 24% of number of persons killed of road accidents cauesed by drivers of motor vehicles.
Every 5

road accident caused by a driver of a motor vehicle was caused by driver younger than 25 years.
Every 3,6

person killed in road accident caused by a driver of motor vehicles was killed in road accident caused by driver younger than 25 years.
52% of road accidents caused by young drivers was caused by wrong way of driving, 27% was caused by speeding and 19% by not giving way.
A cause of 73% of persons killed in road road acccidents caused by young driver was speeding.
44% of person killed in motorcycle road accidents caused by young drivers was caused by speeding.
Most of persons killed in road accidents caused by young drivers was on Saturdays (54 persons killed) and Sundays (45 persons killed).
28% of road accidents caused by young drivers was caused by alcohol impaired driver.
