Road Traffic Accidents in the 1st Half of 2008 in the Czech Republic – Basic Figures

Comparing to the same period of 2007 the police road accident  statistics shows:

  • decrease of number of accidents by 7 908 road accidents (9,1 %)
  • decrease of number of persons killed by 49 persons (9,9 %)
  • decrease of number of persons seriously injured by 144 persons (7,5 %)
  • decrease of number of persons slighly injured by 205 persons (1,7 %)
